From Ogden it is about 156 miles, from Provo about 165 and from Park City about 153, each a little over two and a half hours before traffic or winter weather. I-80 runs just north of town, and Wendover Boulevard (the business loop) carries you past every property in this guide.

Rainbow Casino Wendover
Rainbow, Peppermill and Montego Bay share one company, one address (680 Wendover Blvd.) and one phone line, (800) 217-0049, under the Resorts at Wendover name. Across the three, the group advertises about 2,600 slots and more than 80 table games, with blackjack, craps and roulette, a sportsbook and one Passport Rewards card that works at all of them.
The Rainbow is the most searched of the trio. It lists 429 rooms and suites, and it is the one with the indoor pool, useful in a Great Basin winter. Room choices range from 275-square-foot Riviera doubles beside the pool to 770-square-foot Riviera Suites with a separate living area, a wet bar and a steam shower.
Peppermill Casino Wendover
If you want poker, this is your stop: the Peppermill hosts the group's only poker room. The hotel lists 382 rooms including 64 suites, with Pancho & Willie's for Mexican food, Cafe Milano open around the clock and Cafe Espresso for coffee on the move. Montego Bay Casino Wendover
The Resorts at Wendover site calls Montego Bay its newest hotel and casino, and it is the largest of the three by rooms at 552. It has an outdoor pool, a workout room and three restaurants, including Romanza for steaks and seafood. Grand suites run to 683 square feet with in-room jetted tubs.
Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino
The Nugget, at 101 Wendover Blvd., is the separately run option. Its site lists more than 700 slots, about 500 rooms with whirlpool and luxury suites, a pool and hot tub, and a table pit dealing blackjack, craps, roulette, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker, Pai Gow and live baccarat. The casino claims to have "the ONLY Live Baccarat in Northern Nevada." Bands play Friday and Saturday nights, and a sports book sits on the floor.
